On 5 June 2014, Her Royal Hingness Princess Srirasm, Royal Consort to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn presided over the opening ceremony of the World Environment Day. The theme this year was "Raise your voice not the sea level". In the ceremony, she graciously awarded the outstanding women for the conservation of natural resources and the environment, the champion of creative invention from waste, and she gave certificates to persons upon passing the Good Governance training program class 1 for executive officers.           The event included activities such as a fashion show dress from waste, concerts, and many others to raise awareness among people in order to reduce the adverse effects on the environment caused by climate change, which led to rising sea level and negative impacts to coastal ecosystems, as well as people抯 ways of life. The campaign for persuading people to buy products and use services which are friendly to the environment was also launched in this event.
